Fish and Game Regulations

No person shall fish for, catch or kill any speckled trout, or any cther kind of trout, from the sixteenth day of September in each year to the fifteenth day of April following in ponds and lakes and from the sixteenth day of September in each year, to the thirtieth day of April following in streams, both days inclusive in each case.

No one shall at any time fish for or kill trout by other means than angling, ;

The use of a torch or artificial light in fishing for or catching trout is prohibited.

No person shall kill in one day more than thirty trout.

The sale, purchase or export of trout, no matter where procured is prohibited.

Everyone not being a permanent resident of Prince Edward Island ur the son or brother of a permanent resident thereof, who fishes or attempts to fish for any trout in the waters of Prince Edward Island without first procuring an angler’s permit is liable to a penalty of twenty dollars ($20.00).

Anglers’ permits can be procured at the ‘Travel Bureau, Charlotte- town. Such permit shall hold good until the thirtieth day of September next ensuing, but shall not be transferable.

‘No person shall hunt, take, kill or destroy any game, except during the open season for such game.

Native Partridge—From the fifteenth day of November to the fifteenth day of October in the following year, excepting the year 1932 and every second year thereafter, when there shall be no open season. Bag limit three birds. .

Hares or rabbits between the first day of November and the thirty- first day of March in each year.

Everyone not being a permanent resident of Prince Edward Island who hunts or shoots or attempts to hunt or shoot any game without having first procured a license, is liable to a penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00).

Game licenses can be procured at the Travel Bureau, Charlottetown. The sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of bona fide residents return- ing to this Province on a visit shall be granted a game license on suf- ficient identification, and. payment of a small fee. ; -

The protection and management of all migratory and shore birds is entirely in the hands of the Federal Goverment.
