tends a whole-hearted welcome to Motor Tourists and requests them to comply with the provisions of The Motor Vehicle Act, particularly in regard to:
1. Every driver is required to carry with him a Fermit for his car and a License to operate the same for the cur- rent registration year — as a Chauffeur or Operator. Licenses are only issued to persons upwards of seventeen years of age.
2. Brakes, lights and horn must be in efficient working condition.
The vehicle on the rignt of you has the right of way. 4. Number plates must be kept clean and unobstructed.
5. Do not increase your speed when a car behind you en- deavours to pass—let him pass.
6. De not attempt to overtake a vehicle on a curve or on the crest of a hill when another vehicle is approaching from the opposite direction.
7. Do not park so as to obstruct or endanger traffic.
8. All accidents must be reported to the Provincial Secretary within forty-eight hours. 3
9. The speed limit allowed in Prince Edward Island in open country is twenty-five miles per hour.
10. Drive slowly down hill.
